On The Wings of Destiny

Somehow destiny comes into play. These children end up with you and you end up with them. We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time & miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands.

Need a Easter Miracle

Well we were so hoping that the Easter Bunny was going to be bringing us Ms. Leah Grace's picture instead of a bunch of candy. But it isn't looking hopeful at this point. I spoke to our agency and the special needs list that come out each month have been smaller then in the past so there is a few families in front of us in line waiting for a baby still. In other words we need a big list from China with quite a few minor special needs in order to be matched in April.
To say we are bummed is an understatement. We had this whole big Easter theme going on to surprise our family with Leah's picture on Easter Sunday. We bought Easter baskets and special frames to give everyone with all her information on it.
I know God is in control and knows which baby is meant to be our Leah, but I still think we have the right to be bummed! Jenna really wanted a sister for Easter this year. I haven't told her it may be longer now, I'm still praying for a Easter Miracle.

Praying for you too. If it helps, we weren't matched that week but a week later. He's a little older though. I know waiting is so hard.

God's timing is perfect, but not always our timing. We may not always understand His timing, but it is perfect. Hang in there my friend. Your news will come at the perfect time.

Saying a prayer for you! Also for your little girl's finger. OUCH! We just went through the same thing. You would be shocked what a glue gun can do to a 3 year olds finger!

Oh, like the Stiffs, we also weren't matched the night the list came out (it was a monday night as usual). We actually got our call at about7:30pm that Friday. Our daughter too was a little older, almost 3.

I just popped over from RQ. Looks like we have a lot in common. Married for 15 years, waiting for a daughter from China and both of us have daughters named Jenna! Looks like we are geographically close too! Hoping we both get an Easter miracle this year!
