Sorry I don't seem to be doing a good job keeping up with Leah's blog. Life with a two year old is hectic, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. There is days she drives me bonkers, but my goodness all I have to do is look at her sweet face and she melts my heart.
She is doing pretty good at the baby sitters. But since starting the sitters and me going back to work, she no longer wants to sleep in her crib. She wakes up around 1:00 am every night screaming. Since I get up at 4:30 am, I take the easy and lazy way out and put her in bed with us, just to get a few hours of sleep.
She is pretty settled in her new life I think. She seems happy and adjusted. She no longer takes a bottle, I have to admit I was a littel sad when she gave it up. I enjoyed that bonding time with her at night. I'm not in a hurry for her to grow up, since she will most likely be our last baby.
Enjoy the pictures and I will try to do better in updates for now on.
Loving Our Leah Grace
We are in the process to bring home our second daughter from China.
On The Wings of Destiny
Somehow destiny comes into play. These children end up with you and you end up with them. We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time & miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands.

New pictures
Things are going really good. Leah is doing great. We love her so much and she is so much fun. I had forgotten how much fun a two year old is. Everything is new and exciting for her.
I only have about two weeks left until I have to go back to work and leave my girl with a baby sitter. I'm so upset over this, I have so much anxiety over it. I'm savoring every minute with her.

It's almost two months already
I can't believe that it will be 2 months ago that we left on that big plane to China to bring home our girl. Time has flown by so fast for me. She is such a blessing to us. I love to hear her giggle, it melts me heart when she gives me a big kiss and says she loves me. She is learning so many things and tries so hard to say words. She got a great check up on her heart. Dr. Villafane doesn't think she will require any surgery or medications. She is now weighing 23 pounds and her hair is starting to grow. She is very attached to me, and it will break my heart to leave her and go back to work in about 3 weeks. Until then I plan on spending as much time as possible with her and savor every minute of being a stay at home momma.

We are slowly settling in
Thanksgiving was great this year and now we look ahead to Christmas. I can only imagine how hectic but fun it will be.
We are finally recovered from jet lag, that is a great thing.
Leah is slowly settling into her new life. We have good days and bad days, I think we are having more good then bad. She was starting to sleep really good, but then we have had two nights in a role that she wakes up screaming and scared.
She still is working on accepting Jenna and Adam. Every once in awhile she will follow Jenna every where she goes and seems nice to her, but for the most part she is still aggressive with her. Since Scott is back to work she won't let him do much for her, so I have to leave the house or go down stairs, so she is forced to let him.
She has made up with my parents well now and several other family members.
She is easy to love but can be hard to deal with.
I take both girls to the cardiologist on Wednesday, I'm praying for good news. We also have our first of five years of home studies on Thursday. Friday is Adam's birthday, so we have a busy week.

long over due
I'm sorry it's been so long, but life with a 2 year old is hectic! First of all , let me say how thankful I am to be blessed with a great husband and 4 great kids, it was a special thanksgiving this year.
Ok, jet lag kicked our butts. It was awful we felt terrible for 3 days, we are now back to normal I think. The older three kids have been such a great help to us, Leah has been pretty hard on them, so I know it hasn't been easy.
Leah is very attached to me right now and doesn't want to share me at all. She smacks and screams at anyone who tries to get her momma! She seems to be accepting Alex the best and lets him carry her around some. Poor Jenna gets the blunt of her smacks, I keep telling Jenna it will get better with time, she just says man Leah sure is rude!
It's been a week today that we have been home and even though it's still hard I see so many good changes in her. For one she is getting stronger, her muscle ton was pretty bad. She is eating some solid food! that is a big one for her. She has had some good times dancing with and following Jenna around. She trying hard to repeat words, very cute. She can say, good, momma, baba, sissy, thank you, kitty, dogga, bye, be nice (she hears that one a lot)nana and I think she said Alex yesterday.
I love her so much and can't wait to see her true personality start to bloom.
